1. Short description about the material.
This Camtasia is constructed on the topic
‘properties of solid’ from the class V Science text book. Through this material
learners will come to know what are the properties there in the solid and
different types of properties.
2. Description on how I created the material.
In order to bring this material into life in the
teaching and learning process ICT skills are indispensable, so without having
adequate knowledge about Camtasia are a bit of a challenge. However, with
endless support from module tutor and exploring social media, I was able to use
those ICT tools, ideas and skills that are appropriate in the process of
creating this material. I have used some of the ICT tools such as laptop,
mobile phone, earphone and camera. In some portions of this presentation, I
have inserted real photos thinking that students will learn better while they
see these photos and aids to visual learning. According to Stanford
University's (2014), explained this relationship clearly "When words and
visual elements are closely entwined, we create something new and we augment
our communal intelligence...visual language has the potential for increasing
‘human bandwidth’ the capacity to take in, comprehend, and more efficiently
synthesize large amounts of new information."
3. Where and how am I going to use this material
in the teaching and learning process?
This teaching and learning material is meant for
class V students. It would be used during lesson development, before the
Activity, during the activity and after the activity to check their
understanding about the properties of solid. Similarly this material is
specially designed with the intention to benefit those young learners to expand
their horizons and also to fulfill the learning objective as stated above.

Step 2: Watch and listen carefully.
Step 3: To attempt the activity, you have to
pause the video when you reach the activity question.
Step 4: First you read the activity instructions
and the questions thoroughly.
Step 5: After that try to answer the question
one by one.
Step 6: Then continue watching the video and
check your answer.
